Venue of the meeting10th Roe Deer Meeting will be held in Hotel Šumava, village Srní, Šumava National Park, Czech Republic. Hotel will provide conference rooms, accomodation, food.Reservation of accomodation will be not organised by meeting organisers, please contact directly following reservation form of hotel. We made pre-reservation of the rooms for conference, but final reservation is on you. Special meeting price per one night, incl. breakfast is 1295 CZK = cca. 52 EUR (single room) or 864 CZK = cca. 35 EUR (double room) (VAT 20% not included!) Position of Srní village on the maps. CURRENCY czech currency is czech crown (CZK), rate is cca. 1 EUR = 25 CZK, payments in EUR usually not accepted, payments with credit cards not possible everywhere (no problem in hotel Srni) TRAVEL FROM AIRPORT PRAGUE TO CENTRE Prague airport Ruzyne is not far from Prague centre. There is possible connection to centre with public bus No. 119 (conection to underground station Dejvicka, tickets cost 26 CZK, its possible to buy in airport hall). Or of course taxi, but be carefull with taxameters, prague taxi drivers are not famous for honesty! TRAVEL FROM PRAGUE TO SRNI There is no direct bus from Prague to Srni. There is bus from Prague (bus station "Na Knizeci", near to underground station "Andel") to Susice in folowing times: 11:00 (in Susice 13:30) 11:30 (in Susice 13:55) 16:00 (in Susice 18:25) 19:00 (in Susice 21:25) for first two buses, there is following connection bus to Srni (13:50, in Srni 14:35), so please use it, from the same bus station, just different stop, probably no.13) other two buses have no connection to Srni... I may be there in Susice with microbus, but please let me know (by email, but better to my mobile phone by sms, +420731530348 this times are valid for both monday and tuesday. in case of troubles, contact me on the same telephone number generaly, all timetables are available - here - you may switch the page to english or german TRAVEL BY CAR I recommend following itinerary - from Prague airport, follow signs Plzen/Pilsen (highway D5), near to Plzen turn to Klatovy (leaving highway here), from Klatovy follow in direction to Susice and then Srni - here is this route on the map here generally, good maps of czech republic, including travel planning are here - here More info about hotel here.
